My wife is getting her new laptop today so my search for something for her to watch TV on it with has picked up speed a bit, so I gotta ask for some more help.... 
It needs to be a USB device to connect up our digital DVR box to her laptop. No tuner is really required since we need the box to do that for the premium channels/On Demand and the DVR can output coax, composite, component, and DVI.
I've been hunting around looking, but am having crap luck finding quality reviews of anything. I've been thinking I might be better off with a viddy capture device with component input, wouldn't that give the best picture quality?
Any advice appreciated, I'm clueless at this point.
