UK availability of X800Pro's

No new X800Pro's in the UK for a while unless your name is Ebuyer. It looks like Ebuyer snapped up all the X800Pro's from Sapphire (only 100 of them or so and they have all been snapped up from what I hear) and everyone else is having to wait for their orders.... looks like June it is for the rest of the UK.

This situation is not Sapphire's fault either - the decision to only give cards to one online retailer came from someone above Sapphire.

Also if you order from Komplett at the regular price then send an email with your order number the X800Pro will cost you £269.00 (£275 inc Del).

"...if you place your order on one of the cards below, drop us an email at sales@komplett.co.uk (saying "KOMPLETTDISC FAO PAT" in the subject) and include your ordernumber"

Looking forward to receiving it.

I want to know how they managed that 6800 Ultra 128MB. At the moment I don't know of any GDDR3 RAM densities low enough that will allow 128MB at 8 modules (required for 256-bit). Unless they have some different supply of GDDR3 I can only assume that this would be using slower DDR RAM, or hotter DDR-II (or a 128-bit bus, which I very much doubt!).

Where do you see the 128mb Ultra? It just says 6800 128mb that I see. Well nm, I am an idiot

odd that they put the ultra after the ram like that.

Isn't the Ultra bit Gainwards contribution to the naming scheme, not NVIDIA? Their European website rather cryptically says this:

Gainward Ultra/2000-series
nVidia 6800 Ultra/6800 GT/6800

so maybe:

Ultra/2100 => 6800
Ultra/2200 => 6800
Ultra/2400 => 6800GT

etc., see what I mean?

well by Gainwards USA site the the GT would be the 128mb card with 350 core. Because thats the single slot.
But maybe Gainward is not the company to use for ref design cards.
thats a Typo too

brother ordered his x800 from ebuyer on friday , he got it today . . . not heard from him wether it works yet ,,, he has a shuttle so it might be a tight-fit//bit power hungry ? ? ?
