So, the first match from the Main Card -
Mustafa Al-Turk vs. Cheick Kongo heavy weight match

Both fighters are big 6.2" and 6.4" with Cheick having a reach advantage. The first round starts and after a minute Mustafa knees Cheick in the groin and Cheick takes some time. After the restart, Cheick gives one back to Mustafa, a return knee in the groin. After the second restart, Cheick connects Mustafa twice and then ground and pounds Mustafa and the ref stops the fight. Cheick wins and looks very impressive as displayed with his previous matches.

Second Fight -
Quinton Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva light heavy weight match

Quinton is taller but Wanderlei has a 1" reach advantage. The match begins with the fighters not even touching gloves(bad blood between the two). Both fighters had fists flying during the first two minutes but neither connected but it does seem like Wanderlei might have an edge as he uses kicks and or combo's slightly better than Rampage. Almost two minutes into the round had both fighters testing each other without much happening but then Wanderlei throws a leg and Quinton catches it but isn't able to capitalise. Two minutes 15 seconds into the first round and Wanderlei comes in and swings a combo but Quinton ducks under and swings the left and connects Wanderlei on the jaw and it's lights out as Quinton adds a few more unnecessary punches to a knocked out Wanderlei. Quinton Jackson wins.

Third Fight -
Patrick Barry vs. Dan Evensen

After about a minute and a half Patrick Barry smacks Evensen with a hard leg kick to the side of the knee and forces Evensen to quit with an injured knee. Patrick wins.

Fourth Fight -
C.B. Dollaway vs. Mike Massenzio middle weight match

C.B. and Mike are both 6.2" but C.B. has a 2.5" reach advantage and Mike has a strapped leg. Twenty seconds into the round C.B sends a kick to the body and a few seconds later Mike connects and then head locks C.B. After a few seconds, C.B. gets his leg out and is on top of Mike. A minute and a half passes into the fight and C.B. mounts Mike and then gets his back and flattens him out and ground and pounds Mike and the ref stops the fight. C.B wins.

Fifth Fight -
Reese Andy vs. Matt Hamill - light heavy weight match

With almost a minute over Mark catches Reese's leg but fail to capitalise. Reese though seems to have the upper hand with quicker jabs and kicks. Reese cuts Mark under the eye Mark might have a bloody nose too. Two minutes passes and Reese has got a slightly swollen eye of his own. With about 10 seconds to go Mark sends a two punch combination but that's it for the round. Forty seconds into the second round and it seems like Mark has the upper hand and a few seconds later knees Reese on the head and then starts to put the pressure on Reese. One minute and thirty seconds into the round and Mark starts to take control and pounds Reese to the floor and starts to unleash his fists. After two mintues the ref stops the fight and Mark Wins.

Sixth Fight -
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Frank Mir - Interim UFC heavyweight title (winner will fight Brock Lesnar for the heavy weight title

Both fighters are 6.3" but Frank has a 2" reach advantage. After 35 seconds Frank lands a left punch then proceeds to land more punches and takes Antonio down with a leg sweep and is on top of him and lands some punches but then allows Antonio to stand up. A minutes and a half and Franks lands a upper cut but Antonio retaliates with a punch of his own. Three minutes and 10 seconds and Frank lands a punch on Antonio's chin and floors him but allows Antonio to to stand again. Frank seems to have the upper hand and lands a combination of punches. At the end of the first round Frank sends more combinations and knocks Antonio down again as the round ends. Antonio has been knocked down twice this round.

Second round begins and Frank starts and sends more combinations Antonio's way. A minute and five seconds into the round and Antonio hands a kick but Frank shrugs it off and a minute and forth five seconds and Frank lands another combination and floors Antonio and then proceeds to follow up and lands more punches to Antonio and the ref stops the fight as Antonio is left dazed on the floor. Frank Mir wins the Interim UFC heavyweight title and a chance for the consolidated heavy weight title belt against Brock Lesnar.

Seventh Fight -
Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans UFC light heavyweight title

Forrest has a 4" height advantage and a 2" reach advantage over Rashad. Seems like Rashad will have an up hill fight if he intends to win the title. A minute passes and both fighters are still testing each other. Another minute passes and Forrest is using his legs to do some damage but Rashad answers with a leg kick of his own and the second minute ends. Three minutes and 15 secs and Rashad lands a kick that has Forrest off balance for a second. Another minute passes and both fighter miss with there punches but Forrest sends a kick and Rashad felt the kick. The round ends and both seem in good condition.

Fifteen seconds into teh second round and Forrest sends around house kick but misses as Rashad moves backwards and then slips. Forrest starts to put the pressure on Rashad with a few leg kicks and then a few punches and has Rashad on the fence. Rashad whithers though and the fight is soon in the middle of the ring again. Three minutes pass and Forrest has a slight advantage it seems and as the minute passes Rashad lands a kick.but as the round comes to a close Forrest sends more kicks and Rashad responds with some fists and Forrest ends the round with a kick/fist combination.

Thirty five seconds into the Third round and Rashad catches Forrest's leg and take him to the ground and then tries to ground and pound Forrest but Forrest survives and Rashad lands in Forrest's full guard. After the two minutes of the round and Rashad lands some punches and again Forrest survives. But as another minutes ticks by Rashad again unleashes with his fists and this time he catches Forrest and then Rashad starts unleashes power fists onto Forrest and the ref stops the fight with Forrest dazed on the floor. Rashad Evans wins the UFC light heavyweight title.

I made two bets on the fights totaling 192€ and won 2055€!!

First I made 100€ bet, which had Rampage, Mir and Rashad winning, then I got little bit worried about Mir and hedged my bet a little and made another bet of 92€ that had only Rampage and Rashad and they all won!

Good fights.

I don't think Cheick looks impressive at all. He's a big guy, but he fought a nobody (again). He steps into the octagon with some of the better heavies and I predict he'll get destroyed in short order.

Mir was incredible Saturday night. Absolutely methodical and in almost total control of that fight.

Disappointed that Wanderlei lost, but I don't think he's in his prime anymore. The Rashad victory to me was inevitable, he's just too damn fast with those hands.

Quinton getting some shots in on Wanderlei after the latter was knocked out was bad, but Rashad got about 5-6 punche sin on Forrest that the ref should've stopped. The only thing I can think is that Forrest appeared to be flailing around while Rashad was pounding on him, so the ref thought he was still defending himself.

If you see the replay, you'll see the ref was behind Forrest and hence didn't see that he was out of it. Rashad had lifted Forrest's head up and started pounding and so the ref didn't see(since he was behind).
