Tyan drops ATI graphics cards

I didn't even know Tyan made video cards. The last time I even heard them making anything hardware was back when Socket-A SMP motherboards were brand new (ie: many years ago).

Also nice twist in the title. They did not drop ATI to support Nvidia, but they dropped out of the graphics card business completely.

A well known server manufacturer TYAN recently said it would not produce any new offerings for the graphics cards market because of unprecedented competition in the market. The company?s claim follows some other makers of graphics cards who recently decided to pull back from the business.
