These rankings represent the highest scoring games at the top review sites and magazines. The aggregate opinion of professional game reviewers, if you will. Everyone has their own tastes of course.

Zurich, I definitely plan to pick that one up when I get a PSTwo for $99 whenever Sony gets around to making one.

For SP and online games, my Xbox is getting a lot more play-time so far this year.

I just got Tales of Phantasia, so the GCN is getting lots of play-time now.. but before it was mostly MP on GCN, SP on Xbox.

Well, according to IGN, Zelda is pegged at March 15, 2005 (though I had never seen that before just a few seconds ago).

Yeah a lot of those games could realistically slip to 2005 since some are expected to release very close to 2005 anyway (Kotor2 is listed for a 29th December 2004 release for instance). But ATM they are all supposed to be 2004 releases AFAIK. That list is from GameStats most wanted BTW.

Yeah. The second half of the year seems evenly split amongst the main platforms, as long as everything lives up to its hype.

That list is the top 10 most wanted games ATM. So I'm not sure if that fits into ranking or sales... a bit of both probably.

Not sure why GT4 isn't in there.. apparently its just not in the top 10 most wanted.

BTW I think a lot of those games listed (Zelda, GTA4, Halo 2, Res Evil 4) will sell better then any sports title ect, oh and I'd be suprised if an Olympics game sells well

Admittedly, I really didn't get into much gaming this year. The only 2 games I purchased this year were ICO and Final Fantasy X-2. While I still haven't completed ICO (guys, be nice to me... I'll promise to finish it in about a week when I'm on holidays... 8) ), Final Fantasy X-2 exceeded my expectations after reading okaish reviews about it.

Given the time I spent playing GT4-Prologue though (at my friends place), this game probably exceeded anything for this year. Incredible.

Anyhoo.... I thought KotoR 2 was announced for a February 2005 release or something around the end of Winter/beginning of Spring.
