The idiot son of an ***hole

I don't think either political wing owns the franchise when it comes to using dirty tactics. That said, I've yet to see a Kerry TV ad that even mentions Bush, and in contrast every Bush ad I've seen so far has been Kerry-this, Kerry-that. Outside the ads Kerry certainly tears into the Bush administration, but when that's reported in the political section of your local newspaper I wonder how many Americans see/read that compared to those seeing the ads broadcasted during prime time viewing hours?

Bottom line (and, yes, I'm guilty of this myself), a person's biases filter what they 'see'.

I personally haven't seen any presidential political ads, but thats because I don't live in a battleground state.

However, I do know that the Bush 'attack' ads seem to be based on facts focused primarily on Kerry's voting record on particular issues.

Kerry hasn't been nearly as fact driven in his criticisms at stump speeches, though I have no idea where his ads (or his proxy ads through moveon and Soros' group) spend their time attacking.

That's highly debatable. One ad I saw said something like Kerry's weak on terrorism because he wants to weaken the Patriot Act. Hell, I want the Patriot Act and all such ilk gone, but I'd also spend the resources to castrate AQ in any way possible. There's also a recurring one about Kerry wanting to raise 'your' taxes, which is highly misleading because those tax hikes would hit corporate America and not the viewers themselves. Hardly what I would describe as based on facts. Much closer to what I would label as fear marketing.

EDITED BITS: I spaced the url to Cabllos post, went back and fixed.
I read that thread, out of curiosity.

I'd appreciate it if you didn't drag me into threads to ridicule me, particularly if I never frequent the place.

I don't obsess over you, so kindly don't do it over me. Its fucking creepy.

You mean to say that when I obsessed over you it wasn't creepier? :D

the difference is that everyone in the circle wants to fight.

This isn't true. My friend had broken his arm snowboarding. I assure you he did not want to be dragged into the circle. There were a lot of other people trying to escape the circle. I see your point, most people in the circle wanted to be there; it appears you didn't see mine.

Are you kidding? Having a whole website obsess over you is MUCH creepier! :)

Heck, were thinking of adding a dedicated "Russ Schultz Discussions Forum" just to keep all the threads in one place!

I was the only person to constantly hit on Russ in the threads he made a post in. So I have to be creepier.
