I work for SEGA, in the department where we get to pick what games come over to the US. Used to work in the Quality Assurance department, but have left that area a while ago. While I'm not entirely on the development side of things I do get to put in my little bit of info every now and then.
I've got plenty of time to come to the forum. SEGA is a somewhat lax place to work at, and only the QA people are there working in the sweatshops for 14 hours a day 6 days a week.
Why not just get the Japanese DC version then? It has the original Japanese voice track, the DC version is far superior to the PS2 port, it's available now, and playing imports on a DC simply requires a boot disc (I use Cheats 'N Codes vol 1) - no modding needed.(BTW - Any hope of leaving the Japanese voice track in the NA release?!! )

If you don't want a Dreamcast, then fine. But I strongly suggest, for your purchasing satisfaction, that you research the differences between the DC and PS2 versions... the PS2 rev is incredibly glitchy and far inferior.Because I don't want a DC?
