Well exactly, and I mentioned that earlier. It's easy enough to look at a still picture of MG and say "she's not very sexy, she's not enough of a looker to be a love interest", and then if you see her in "Secretary" or "Stranger Than Fiction" where she's acting the part, and she's simply sex on a stick.
There's a big difference in being sexy because of the way you look, and sexy because of the way you are. Maybe that's the difference between Maggie and Katie. Katie can look sexy, Maggie can be sexy.
I dunno, maybe you need to be a bit more grown up than the average Batman fanboy poster. Maybe you need to see the attraction of a woman as opposed to a girl.
Oh c'mon fellas if I want to see sexy like that I'll watch other kinds of movies like The Graduate. There's nothing wrong with wanting the James Bond girl to look gorgeous like they usually are. Let's not forget the Batman movies are action movies derived from a comic book series.

Please define "look hot" in the context of "what people find attractive".
I've met women who don't look stunning, but are incredibly attractive when you see them talk, see them animated, even when you just hear their voices.
On the other hand, I've met women who look incredibly stunning, but as soon as they open their mouths, or they way they conduct themselves simply makes them incredibly unattractive. Sometimes the women who are so pretty that they think they can get away with treating people like dirt and twisting others around their fingers are the least attractive at all.
Maybe I'm just not as superficial about the way people look equating to whether they are hot or not.
No, but in the real world 'animal magnetism' is just the lure when it comes to seeking out a mate. We are hardwired to react to tons of more subtle visual cues, smells, movements an whatnot that does not translate well on to a movie screen. Thus, superficial hotness becomes that more important.

Being sexual and being attractive are two different things (as I usually find out on a Fri night out!).
I work with a young lady who is absolutely stunning. But she has an odd deep voice and cannot for the life of her socialise in any meaningful way.
Having said that she's still on the "maybe" list though.
Well you seem to be the only one that is talking about being sexy. What seems to matter to most people is if they look hot. And btw, personally for me a girl can't be sexy unless she looks pretty to begin with. Katies Holmes to me just by her looks is much more attractive than how Maggie acts sexy, I just can't get past her mediocre looks. Nicole Kidman in Batman Forever, now that's sexy.
Woah, this is going to be really awesome. A Batman animated anthology taking place between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Although I would've preferred they had done it in the Bruce Timm/Paul Dini style.

Kidman has a good body and *great* legs, but Maggie oozes "I'm a kinky slut who likes to have sex, so let's get it on naughty boy." In every movie I've seen Maggie in (and I'm not talking Secretary), there's always this look on her eyes or grin on her face that says "I may not be Angelina Jolie, but I'm wild in bed". Angelia Jolie is chick who seems both mega hot and says "I'm mentally unstable, but probably a wild beotch in bed" Unfortunately, Jolie to me seems more of a head case and unfun personality than Maggie.
Personally, I'll take a chick who is fun to be around and wild in bed over one who is uber hot, but a bore and a snore.

Heh, I remember an interview with Rocco Sifredi (THE euro porn legend) where he answered the question about which hollywood celeb he'd like to have sex with. He chose Kidman saying "She's damn hot and she looks like she really needs it"
I'd have expected him to mention at least a couple more women at the same time.
