Of course, with Virtua Fighter 5 coming out on newer platforms, this will look dated very soon, but nonetheless, it looks much more interesting and veried than Tekken4 ever did!

Sonic said:I am interested in this game. It seems that this is the first true attempt by Namco to rejuvenate the series after the great game that Tekken 3 was. TTT and Tekken 4 were games that didn't offer much in the way of improvements in gameplay. I'm not expecting a complete revamp here either but it does seem like things will become more finely tuned and some nice additions to the game will be added.
As for Virtua Fighter 5, you have no idea.

Tekken 5 migh tbe a good competitor though and I'm expecting the quality of it to be up there with SC2 or even better. What arcade hardware are they using for the game anyway?
Guden Oden said:Why can't they make an old-skool beat-em-up with a full-featured storyline? They got all these moves and cool dudes and dudettes, but all they ever do is wail on each other for 2 or 3 rounds, it gets so fricken BORING.
I tired of beatemups around when super streetfighter was released for the SNES, and nothing's happened for the last 10 years for fricks sake.
