Xarth and I had a blast playing Borderlands on the XB360. Hopefully the PC version is as much fun.
 
Unless the FOV makes you crazy. It's a pain to change it. The guides have you set up the "run forward" key to also "set FOV" because otherwise the FOV gets reset every time you sprint.

That's what I did and it works. Unless you always run sideways or something...

Borderlands is fun as hell. I played by myself without the DLC and had a blast.

Looking forward to Borderlands 2, but I won't buy it on release day if they don't do a better job with the PC version. MSAA must be in there.
 
I picked up Deus Ex + DLC for 32 euros. Only played a little over 4 hours but it's already my GotY (BF3 for action/multiplayer, Skyrim for timesink).

Waiting for some good deals on Assassin's Creed games.

My only problem with DXHR is that I don't think I want to do security "hacking" minigames ever again. Given enough play time you may find yourself in agreement with me. ;)
 
I've picked up quite a few games on EA's Origin service lately. They had Batman for $25 and BF3 for $30 on Black Friday, and quite a few other fairly new games for $10-20. I feel dirty giving EA my money and using what's essentially a beta service that phones home personal info on my habits, but if EA can market my personal usage of www.redtube.com then more power to them.
 
I bought a cheap Crysis 2 Origin key on Ebay ($25) months ago and that worked for me. :D Didn't give money directly to EA. The gameplay was somewhat meh and I've not finished it so I'm glad I got it cheapish.

My main problem with Origin is that it is named after a favorite game developer which EA destroyed. Not that most of the current day game kids have any idea about that.

I'd love a new Wing Commander or a proper Ultima Underworld game to show the kids that today's games are p**s.
 
Mass Effect 1 & 2 are both 5 Euro/pound/dollar on Origin :)

Though their ME3 "digital LE"is an effing 69.99 pound/dollar/euro/slotty.. wth?
