I have compared this Tv to Sharps LC-46Xd1e. Therses some iteressting differences I´ve noticed.
Sonys KDL46X2000U has stronger colors, almost to strong ( I dont think they look natural).
Sharps has more toned down colors.
Theres one importatn thing i´ve noticed with SONYs KDL46X2000U LCD-TV, the picture ( watching 1080p demo clips) the picture looks a bit groiny.
If you have experienced this on your sony LCD please answer my questions:
Is it also groiny when you play games, for example Ps3 and Xbox360 games ( 1080p ) ?
Does the Tv have 60hz function?
Is there options to adjust each colors separated ( especially the color black ) ?

There probably is a Service Menu. Just search on Google for "Service Menu" and the model and you'll probably find it.

The Sony TVs come with a "vibrant" color setup.
Before you go to the service menu try some simple setup (IIRC you dont need to go to the service menu to control the RGB calibration with the X-series).

I use the settings below with KLV-32S200A
