So, the Japanese lineup thusfar..

Lots new in there.

I figured it was good when they announced 23 new games today, but here they go with a lot more :)

Do you think .hack// is coming to the PS3 as well? They just announced Gu and Fragment for PS2, but maybe an extension?? BLEACH maybe?

Capcom
action game, action
Devil May Cry 4, stylish action
Biohazard 5, survival horror
I believe SenatorMonkey brought this up. During the Capcom trailer they specifically detailed which consoles Bio5 and DMC4 were going to and suspected maybe Dead Rising was multi? An unnamed action game?

Cavia
Unnamed action RPG, action RPG
DRAG-ON DRAGOON 3!!! DRAG-ON DRAGOON 3!!! DRAG-ON DRAGOON 3!!!

Hudson
Unnamed RPG, RPG
Bomberman, action
Rengoku: The End of the Century, sci-fi action RPG
Tengai Makyou anyone? Also, I really hope the new bomberman doesn't look like those pictures running around the net. Bomberman should be cutsey, not evil vectorman.

Konami
Gradius series, shooting
Unnamed soccer game, soccer
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball series, sports
Unnamed action game, action
Unnamed role playing game, RPG
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, tactical espionage action
GRADIUUUUUUUUUUUUUS!!!! Ahem. Also, please please please please pleeeeeeease. Let that action game be ZOE3. Also, I can't imagine the RPG being anything other than the next Suikoden.

Namco
Unnamed RPG, RPG
Unnamed fighting game, fighting
Unnamed shooting game, shooting
Unnamed sports game, sports
Tales of ***** RPG? Tekken. Any thoughts? Any thoughts?

Genji 2 (tentative name), action
The Eye of Judgment (tentative name), TBA
Minna no Golf 5 (tentative name), sports
Monster Carnival (tentative name), action RPG
Oh, Angel Rings... I'm a sucker for anything using Christianity mythos. Monster Carnival? Any chance it's like Monster Rancher?

Square Enix
Final Fantasy series, TBA

Tecmo

Let all HELL break loose with this comment. Ninja Gaiden? Rygar?

Also, it looks like Sony lost a few series... no Sangoku Musou was in the Koee line up.

Thanks for the list Titanio.

I think it just means an entry in the series ;)

I doubt it's Dead Rising. If it were, there'd be no reason not to announce it as such here. I'd say it's something else.

Amen.

Well on the one hand you have Sony listing an "unnamed fighting game" from Namco, and at the same time they're still showing the Tekken tech demo from E3, so..I think it's very probably Tekken. Whether it's a new Tag, or 6, I don't know.

Not sure. I wonder if Eye of Judgement is Eyedentify or another new eyetoy based game?

Either way, I continue to be impressed with Sony's commitment to original first party titles on PS3. How many is that now? I think it's about 10 or 11 that I can think of thusfar if not more.

Also, this is the list they're willing to confirm to date, and only for Japan. It ain't comprehensive in other words, even just for Japan I'm sure (although I'd say this is a lot of what's being cooked up currently for the Japanese market).

Japanese lineup. Although I'm sure you'll see more EA games released in Japan early on that just Fight Night. This isn't comprehensive or a static list, it'll grow..

hey69 said:
no RR from namco?

If it's happening, I doubt we'd see announcement of it till after its launch on x360. I'm sure RR will grace PS3 at some stage, be it 6 or not though.

There is a new trailer at TGS apparently:

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/651/651356p1.html

But no one seems to have grabbed it yet. I hope the media situation improves over the weekend. There is one new direct feed shot, though.

edit - btw, just did a count, and the 102 games claimed are on that list. I thought initially this was an incomplete list taken from 102 titles in dev altogether worldwide, but it seems 102 is the figure on this list alone. I wonder how many are in dev worldwide, total.

I'm always skeptical of these lineups. I remember the lineup list for PSP and DS, yet software's taken a while to appear.

Ditto (warhawk water)... looks fantastic. The rockets fire also leave quite a nice trail of smoke...
