Something about shaders ??

Hi guys , i'm Max and i write from Italy : this is my first topic on this boar even though i always read Beyond3d pages..
I'd like to ask you something about 3d graphic tehcnology...
I'd like to know how can i learn much more about pixel and vertex shaders , can you suggest me some article about them?

Thank you thousand for having given me interesting suggests....
Is there an article about pixel shaders like the other one about vertex shaders on beyond3d (it's very simple)...
I'd like to watch the differences betwen screenshoots taken using and not pixel shaders ...I'd see how pixel shaders change the imsge quality...
