Because they'd pay 15 USD just for cosmetic DLC. Then again, they earned their money so they can spend it however they want. Just not something I'd do.

There was gameplay in that video? I saw maybe 5 seconds total? Or is "gameplay" in this title watching events unfold and sometimes pressing a QTE?

I don't know what it is about the videos for this game but the graphics seem to be getting worse as each sequel is made.

 

Lara plastic edition

 

I'll say this, the setting looks way more interesting than Rise and Lara's newly gained triceps and gluteus maximus are very welcoming. The rest really didn't impress me much, especially the graphics. The foliage rendering is just poor man.

 

Just saw the gameplay from Square Enix E3 show.....and......quality seems inconsistent. Cant say I was floored. I have mixed feelings.
Animation needs work, it lacks fluidity. Lighting looks great in some situations and totally flat in other situations.

It was okay. The jungle setting is indeed much better than Rise but I'm not sold on the game yet.

 

OK, so this was interesting in a not really gameplay related way. Jesse Cox is talking about watching the Shadow of the Tomb Raider on stream. And all the comments were like, "Damn, Crystal Dynamics made Lara even sexier." Or, "It looks like they sexed up Lara." Or, "Mmmmm, Thicc..." So, maybe CD were going after that demographic of people that like Thicc (not a misspelling) girls.

seeing the 4K video, I was probably unfair to the game. It's a significant improvement over Rise graphically.
