Shadow of the colossus and framerate issues

EGM and OPM reviewed the game. OPM didn't mention about any glitches but EGM did. Saying it had tons of techical issues and ever present slowdown. I've read EGM over the years and they are known for bias toward xbox and gamecube, so i take them with a grain of salt. Recently, previews stated that the new build they received had improved framerate and lod. So who do i believe? I know not to trust EGM.

Well a guy at GAF played that same version and said that those issues weren't there so...

It's another videogame forum, but has more crazy people there then will ever be here. You have to weed through the craziness to find the golden information.

You're right and I will never go there again. I think you should wait until the online media can review the game. But the way I hear it framerate shouldn't be an issue and the motion blur is just as good as PGR3 no lie.

I know, i saw. it's like the best motion blurring ive ever seen in a game. so those mags that reviewed the game, did the get the final products?

Isn't this game suppose to be out in a week or two?

So it's gotta be done, no builds to check out at this point.

but the mags takes a month to make. also they needed time to play the game before they review it.

WTF, first someone on here said Gamespot was bias for Xbox and now EGM is as well? When did this happen, in the Xbox community it has always been quite obviously the opposite.

EGM always seemed to hate playstation products. even though games on ps1 were classics, problem always seemed to outweight the good in their book. They rated the final fantasy series well because it never originated on the console. and even though it, as far as everyone is concerned, was a great game, they would still make comments like "it would be better on n64".

I meant the link is not relevant to the thread, as in "This link is not relevant to the topic of the thread, but I thought people might enjoy it." I wasn't talking about the thread in relation to the forum in the slightest. You misread my post, albeit poor wording on my part doesn't help.

oh ok. i had threads closed here because of redundency or thread not contributing to the forum. so i was like, "what the hell do i have to do here!". btw, the link wont work for me. how do you use it?
