I'm not too familliar with all this tech jargon but have a question.
Which card (X800XT or 6800U) has the highest shader throughput?
From what I have been able to garnish from reading around is that shaders are a very important function for preformance in games. Yet from what I have read here it seems the 6800U is being held back? why?
Also it seems the 6800U can't preform as efficiently as the X800 series in PS2.0 let alone all this conjecture regarding PS3.0 and VS3.0??
I intend to get one of these card to last me till early 06 and for the life of me can't make up my mind which one will give me the best preformance over the next year and a half.
Please excuse my ignorance but I'm confused and would like to have someone clear all this up.
