Don't digital cinema has 4k x 4k source?

Maybe studio will offer that on something when this go into production.

Digital Cinemas use 3 different resolutions today:
2048x1080p24
2048x1080p48
4096x2160p24

Sources wary from 1920x1080 (obviously not optimal resolution due different aspect ratio) to 2048x1080, 4096x2160 cameras are still in developement.
4096x2160 is apparently usually used when scanning from film to digitalize it, but 2048x1080 is sometimes used too.
