Recommendation: PS Vita games

but the weird thing about vita is more and more japan game is released on there. It seems Sony give up on Vita, but japan developer does not give up.

Too bad these Japanese games aren't the kind you'd typically want for your system unless you're a weaboo, or a furry, or whatever.

any good game or app on PS Mobile?

Sony is super weird because i cant search at all in PS Mobile store that just 1 tap away from PSN store.

unfortunately since yesterday i cant install games from PSN, always get error
c0-10932-5

googling, they say change DNS to google's. But i already using Google DNS and everything was working fine the 1st day i use vita to download all PS+ free games...

and there's one app i want from PSM, Vita Remote Desktop. It was developed since years ago and want to check whether its been released or not.

EDIT:
after trying a bit more, it seems the error happen for update (Yeah sony is weird, game downloaded is not updated, its separate) and demo. Will try re-download uncharted GA tonight to see it error or not.

EDIT:
game update can be tackled by workaround
1. cancel the automatic update download queue you got from PSN.
2. update manually by waiting on game start screen for a few seconds and press the yellow icon.
3. update will correctly download, manually install by pressing the yellow icon again.

EDIT:
found the consistent behavior.
- game without update available will fail
- game update pushed from PSN will fail
- all demo will fail

LBP is also great : the mini-games you can unlock are excellent for short spells of play.

Yeah, the mini-games are not bad, but I actually thought that the main campaign was also really very good. Some wonderful designs and cleverness in there, and genuinely fun to play.

@orangepelupa: that's a lot of fail!

I generally don't have issues. Weird.

As for PSM, in Europe I think we still didn't get Super Cratebox and such ... ? There are some fairly high-rates games on there, but most of those tend to be on the lower scale of the iOS games, so if you have that already, then unless there's a game you think would be much better with the analog stick/d-pad/buttons, don't bother.

I got "Malicious Rebirth" past weekend and it's a pretty hardcore game!!
I play and finish every game on 'hard', but this game beats my ass on normal :(

Yeeeah i fixed it hahaha sony you clueless support dont give any real help, i thank for those programmers making programs for free.

How to fix error c0-10932-5 when downloading demo from PSN and making PSN download 2x faster (and sometime even more faster)

1. Download proxy, i use this thing specially made for PSN
http://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=388

2. Run the proxy and set the PS Vita to use the proxy (yourpcipaddress, port 27)

3. Download the game from PSN, it will ERROR and the proxy window will start downloading your game super fast (its like 2x faster :D )

4. after proxy finish download, download AGAIN the game from PSN on PS Vita. Voila :)

Now happily download demos off PSN but unhappy with my tablet SSD no free space :p

EDIT:
just tried DoA5+. Wow it have crazy graphic. On fight the detail is lower but it is still looks good. too bad the game still very expensive

It's not nearly as hard as it first seems! I was surprised when I got through it.

I stopped playing Vita's LBP halfway because I couldn't stand another second of the ultra-repetitive gipsey instrumental music.
Also, I found the platforming elements as bland as a white sheet.

I'm aware this is an unpopular opinion.

actually I feel exactly the same!!
The whole forced dialogue screens with the funny voices, the funny font, the colourful text-balloons.. combined with the music, the "charm" which got stale after... 2-3 sequels?

Anyway, no, the game is not for me either :p

One Piece Unlimited World Red is a lot of fun. Really good looking too. (and I have never watched a single episode of the anime or read even one page of the manga) It may have been a port of a Japanese 3ds game from a year ago, but maybe that is exacatly why it looks so pretty, feels so good and is so polished. It's not a crippled console hand-me-down with a muddy, sub-native iq, mountains of slowdown, a dingy color palette, lengthy loading times and in dire need of more phyiscal buttons, but a bright and charming looking cartoon that feels very much at home on a portable.

i was eye-ing One Piece UWR too but still holding for reviews and whether the extra DLC is good or not. If the DLC is good, im considering to wait for US PSN release. But if the DLC is bad, i can walk to twente gameshop to get Straw Hat edition that the DLC cant be redeemed :D (im on US PSN lol)

EDIT:
there's no online-pass crap with one piece right?

i just checked, the US PSN wont get bonus DLC.
and the game is 10 dollar cheaper on 3DS (30 USD on 3DS, 40 USD on Vita)

now googling some more review, PSUniverse say the game is good but it did not go too detail in the review (i saw on youtube that the game have short draw distance, so enemy suddenly pop) :/

Enemies popping in has little to do with draw distance. While the game is a brawler at its core, encounters are very reminiscent of jrpgs where encounters just happen. Once you've cleared out a group they're gone for a couple of minutes, and then the trigger for the encounter resets and they can spawn again when you get close. It's not Dynasty Warriors.

Also: no online pass. No online play at all for that matter. Just local ad-hoc multi-player.

i just realized that PS Vita although have better screen, it have worse speaker than 3DS.
In sunlight, vita's screen have better colours but worse visibility.
In indoor vita's screen is really beautiful with even colors all across the screen.

*realized this after watching Bravely Default gameplay on Vita's YouTube and now i can't stop seeing those horrible horizontal lines on 3DS' top screen and the blocky lower screen :/ (doh... and my brain was ignoring all of that before i see bravely defaut on vita's screen)

That is partially why I am excited for the next Nintendo handheld; It will benefit greatly from the smartphone revolution, Cheap HD screen + SoC more powerful than PS3/360/WiiU.

It certainly lacks in 'oomph' ... but it is stereo at least, which is good for some games.

This is the biggest downside of the OLED. The newer model vita does not have that issue.

Yes, quite amazing. Even next to a Retina iPad it looks really good.

In that respect it's a really big difference. When 3D is used well on the 3DS though it's not as disturbing. But the resolution/dpi is quite a big difference (Vita is 220dpi I think).

My son has been really getting into Street Fighter vs Tekken, it's pretty nice. I got Child of Light for it, think I'll enjoy that game much more on the Vita.
