Anyone can figure out the games, resolutions ? seems good, but if compared to the 6800U i would say not so far ahead.

Can anyone list the figures from that pic? It's damn near impossible to read.

By figures I mean the chart no the numbers on the chart. The difference in the 2nd game you would really hope the game is very cpu limited.

Old slide from last year ...
But, isn't ATI change thay logo thih year?

I was wrong.
The pic was indeed taken recently in Beijing.

Well bottom left - "December 2003"

Also can anyone read what it says? What games they are running, what resolutions, detail settings etc.

Judging by the type of slide the pictures of HL2 and Splinter Cell probably dont even have anything to do with the numbers shown.

IMO too old to have any bearing on the current position of the R420

Edit

Heh beaten to it :)

I think it is the first slide to indicate R420 performance officially in public and Dec 2003 isnt not far from now.

Yeah its the first to indicate performance, but it was 4 months ago and many things could have changed since then such as gpu/mem speed, number of enabled pipes etc, theres so many rumors flying about  who knows (apart from the NDA ******* nice people) what the final specs are. Well guess we'll find out soon enough.

December 2003 was 5 months ago. Alot could've happened in between.

12pipes -> 16 pipes
R420 instead of R400.
etc.

US
It looks like ATi did a lot of work during 5 months.

Now I translated the words for ya, line by line:
. The fastest VPU in the world, another time!
. Revolutionized architecture brings you 2 times the performance of Radeon 9800
. Extremely fast rendering pipeline
. The latest solicon process
. Very faste memory interface
. 256MB video RAM

As you can see, just some PR crap.
