You can click on the postcard and select either coop or MP. Joining a party depends whether the party is doing coop or mp.
Press triangle, join your friends or start a party, the party carries over from game to game. Gameplay-wise it's definitely more interested than Warhawk and as fun as Killzone 2 post-patch.

I know that, but every time I play, the first time match making happens quickly and I can play, but after that it just can't find games, though it keeps saying there are 1981 players online.
Also, I kept trying to join the party of my friend, but it wouldn't happen.
Also, the game need a kill confirmation sound in competitive,. It is totally unclear whether you have killed some one or not. The notification happens at the left bottomm, which is not visible immediately when you are focusing on the centre of the screen.
I have been able to play only 1 MP and 1 Co-po uptill now, the game doesn't hook me up at all, once I have played a match.
BTW, in the co-op map, the game looks GORGEOUS

that's what the game says to me IIRC, seems to require beta download code though.

? Why does it say that? I have a valid code !It´s an early beta so that ND can learn stuff about how to setup servers, how people play the maps stuff like that. They will look at the results, and add them into the game. Most likely we will see a stress test "beta" later.
Beta has somehow turned out to be a demo for some people (like you). A real beta sees people try out stuff and giving back FEEDBACK to the developers. It´s not meant to be a free lunch.

!I will say that this Beta is more polished than SOCOM PS3 when it released. I've heard comments that this Beta is more polished than Gears of War 2 after it released.
The matchmaking has been rough....but there seems only to be 2000 people playing and so perhaps many are in matches. I found it got better and quicker over the night.
The best bet for now is to make a party (which is easy as pie!)

The beta so far has been quite fun. It is true the match making could be a little quicker. Especially after a match as finished.
I would prefer that it didn't drop everyone out to the match making screen and just allowed everyone to continue onto another round if they want.
Anyway, it shows alot of promise and i cannot wait till the game is released.

Well P'd off i didnt get a code! Thought every copy of infamous contained one, but obviously i was wrong! lol
They should not attach this crappy build to inFamous then... I don't care if it is early build or not...

Crackdown - Halo 3 MP Beta release date : February 20

Halo 3 MP Beta released 5 months before the game's release and it was not crappy as U2 MP Beta ... At least they showed some respect to consumer who bought Crackdown for H3 MP Beta with releasing a great build ...

Tried to play 20mins ago , couldnt even connect to Multiplayer , servers are down or what ?.. And please dont say anything about my connection , its not 8mbps or something I can play other games without a problem...
I didn´t get it from infamous, how does a free beta, no matter how rough become a bad thing?
Because people got used to considering betas "demos" and demos often got the "beta" or 75% build attached.
Uncharted 2 is a real beta build, no more no less
