You gave two examples of major retailers (Gamestop and EBGames are the same company) selling preorders for $59. So "all major retailers" right now includes two stores. Most local shops are happy to take your preorder too. We should do a poll of our local gaming shops and see what they're charging for the games...Jimboc said:

No, Xbox 360 games in OZ dont go for 110 or 120. Thats a straight up lie, they range everywhere between 79 and 99. Where do you shop champ?
Wouldnt surprise me. Already getting the early adopters to pay $500-600 for the console, whats milking another $10 going to do to them? Make them change their mind? They'll bleed the early adopters as much as they can if their a smart company so they can make as much profit as possible as fast as possible.
