Any word on how common Sony's SKUs are going to be, ex:

Is Sony going to put out 50/50 of each SKU or more of one or other?

Not necessarily at launch.

The allocations are still unknown. A high proportion of 60GB SKUs seems likely starting out, IMO, but we'll see.

Last I heard there was going to be only 60 GB in the UK. Elsewhere in Europe you can only preorder 60 GB units and the 20 GB version is not even advertised.

an insider told me the same thing.

you can put analogy with the psp here. LAunched as base and valuepack in japan but launched only as value pack in the west.

maybe they are planning something like this for europe. 60g now, 20g version by november 2007

Thats weird because I asked and I was being told about the 20GB
