I have no experience on the console versions so can't comment on that, but there's something realy disturbing in that screengrab - it's like there's 2 pictures, one translucent, and just a tiny bit, couple pixels or so, out of it's place. It's especially easy to notice around the character and the poles on the pier.

man a lot of the textures really blow in high rez!
Makes me wonder if the further draw distance necessitates the use of lower-quality textures/filtering, at least on the computer those screenshots were grabbed from.
Looks more bumpy or detailed. Anyways great to see they added some new features and better graphics.

Two weeks ago when I went to buy Warhead, the counter jockey at my local GameStop said the same thing. *shrug* I will say this: I was very much looking forward to the next installment of GTA on the PC, but after Yahtzee's review of Saints Row 2, it makes me think I would like SR2 better than GTA-IV anyhow.

I'll definatly still be picking GTA4 up because SA was probably the best game i've ever played. That said, I do love that style of game so SR2 is a definate possibility for me - later.
Right now there are way too many amazing games to play so a short delay in GTA4 is probably a good thing!
I'll certainly agree with that: Warhead, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, GTA-IV, there's lots to love right now in the PC gaming arena

True... and one of the reasons for the delay was supposedly because they were making sure the PC version took advantage of PC controls. (at least thats what the devs said)
I hope they keep the controls identical to the 360 version. I'm sure this game will work better on a 360 pad than a key/mouse.
That said, I still hope they make sure it works well with the key/mouse, as long as the core control pad control isn't compromised in any way.

I actually have a PS2-esque Logitech joystick that I use for playing my GTA games on the PC. I can't imagine that this would be much different...
