Overwatch [PS4, XO] Blizzard

Initially announced as a PC title, it is now coming to PS4 and Xbox One. It's a moba arena-shooter hybrid. Like Team Fortress 2, but with a moba-style hero selection.

Always trust Blizzard to deliver a fun playing game. I've wasted so much time on Diablo 3 on console, might try this.

Multiplayer modes in the new Crackdown game? Well, except it wouldn't be BF: Bad Company type of destruction, since EVERYTHING can be destroyed. Other than that I don't think anyone else is going to do massive destruction to arena structures.

There are no NPCS in overwatch; not sure how much I want to classify it as a moba. But yea, all of them are much closer together and further away from destiny.

Heh, someone has Destiny on the brain. Those games listed have absolutely nothing even remotely related to Destiny.

These are MOBA-like with integration of Arena style spectacle fighting. Street Fighter has as much in common with these games as Destiny.

It's the natural middle-ground between TF2 and a moba. It's basically TF2 with moba style heroes. The other games definitely have more moba elements. The three are nothing like Destiny.

Open beta has been live for some time now. Anyone played a match? I can't seem to find any matches.

Played vs AI and it was a cluster fuck spawn killing fest, nothing else.

Need more time with it.

Is there a story mode at all? Or only mp modes?

Nah, there is no story mode, no PvE.... I like Battleborn PvE a lot. PLaying vs AI was just not the same experience here, of course, as it wasn't structured like a mission. We just spammed the spawn door of the AI and that was it...... But that can happen vs ppl too. There was no other place to spawn at all !

Game is good, but with MP only, I wait for sale.

I'm pretty sure Blizzard will deliver a quality game, they always do. I just don't get what the long term draw of Overwatch is, but maybe that is very much dependent on the community of the game and how sustainable it will be over time. I have to say, i love the art direction.
