OMG GTA4 trailer on March 29th!

hope they don't force you to use uncomfortable sic sac sis control if i am buying ps3 version. i am still unsure which console i should get between 360 and ps3

damn i wish they didnt tell us. i dont want to wait :D

If they can release a GTA 4 at either a solid as hell 30 fps, or even better 60fps, with more or less no popup, ill be freakin excited. I hated playing gta on ps2. looked like shite.

I beg to differ, it looked very good for the platform it was made for and all things considered. Not that the PC version was any prettier? Just less jaggies.

It had a much better draw distance...

That's always been my pet peeve with GTA, the less than phenominal graphics you can deal with on account of the scale but the raggedy frame rate and crap draw distance really help ruin the feeling.

that said, looking forward to this trailer!

After spotting this thread it struck me that I know absolutely nothing about this game. I don't recall R* leaking anything. I hope it means they have wonderful stuff up their sleeve and don't just make a bigger and shinier GTA - which wouldn't be bad but be dissapointing.

Where does this GTA take place?

Nobody knows. Tokyo Japan? Somewhere in the middle east? Who knows. But I would like to see a jump from GTAIII to GTA4 that we had from GTA II to GTAIII.

Hmmm.... something’s not right, here. Something’s missing. *thinks for a moment* Ah, I got it! Where's Jack's announcement denouncing GTAIV and its morally irreprehensible depiction of villainous acts and its vivid portrayal of violence and hate crimes that’s destroying our youths? He doesn't seem to wait until he knows anything about the games before denouncing them, so, what's taking him so long?

What other controller could you possibly use on the PS3? Seems like you've answered your own question.

The right question would be, how did you missed that Jack is already making noise...

Hell Yea R*!

Maybe the trailer will finally give some "hints" on where the game's location will be. That info alone, is more than enough for me(of course more is better if they want to show other things :D )

no, i was saying i prefer pushing buttons instead of moving controller to play games. i play games to relax

Oh, I see. That makes more sense. Given the multiplatform nature of this title, universal control schemes that map well to PC, 360, and PS3 controllers are likely to be standard. Though I would expect some (limited) optional support for each platform's unique control offerings.

I doubt exotic locations, can't think of GTA without a pop sound track.
In exotic locations with heavy US troop presence there is always plenty of pop on AFR. Granted, Rockstar has too much pollitical trouble as it is without going to Bagdad.
