I don’t think there’s a case in the past decades where there has been such a jump in machine learning abilities in such a short time in such a wide variety of fields.
We’re only a few years in, but I think that the consequences will be similar in impact as the explosion of the internet and mobile computing: very disruptive for a lot of industries and professions.
