Some time back someone suggested that the rsx has 6 vertex and 12 pixel shaders. Others disagreed with that suggestion. So has this issue been resolved? Does the rsx have 8 vertex and 24 pixel shaders after all?
Anyway bbot to take your question seriously for a moment, all that's really known right now is that RSX is pointing to 24 pixel pipes. I mean, but this is something you shouldnot have to be asking in September of 2006 if you've been following the chip at all.
