I upgraded because of the Size. The final PS2 was ludicrously small and easy to carry to and from work. Why did people 'upgrade' their PS1 and PS2's to Slim?

Sounds like old PS4 bundles are outselling the slim. Do I have that correct? A bit of a tough comparison as a game can add a ton of value.
Just to add some anecdotal info to the mix, there have also been substantially better bundles elsewhere for the XBox One S than on Amazon.
Basically. But even with the same bundle (Uncharted), the Slim and the original were virtually tied in sales when I looked.

Yeah, it would have been perfect for me had I not just bought a PC. The OG XBO was just too large to fit in my semicircle-shaped media centre. The White XBO S looks fantastic. The Xbox slim is a very compelling product. It's a great second system for a PS4 owner and foot in the door for tech/videophiles. Hell, even current XBO owners must like it.
For things like consoles Amazon UK generally use a courier called DPD who give you an hour slot for delivery on the morning of delivery - this is worth its metaphoric weight in gold to me because it means I'm notting sitting around waiting for delivery. I know my hour slot and can watch the van make it's way to me on a map so I know about 5 mins before that it's about to arrive.
There's more geography in the US, which makes it harder. Before 9am, Before 10am and Before 12pm are all fairly standard options for UK couriers. Plus Amazon offer same day evening delivery in quite a few UK cities. When I ordered my 3DS XL I had no idea it didn't come with a charger so ordered that for evening delivery. My 3DS just about lasted until the courier arrived with the charger.I wish the US had something like that. The best you can go is guaranteed morning delivery if you do overnight shipping.

What a time we live in!
Just to clarify I mean the offerings to deliver by a certain time is something all couriers offer, not that these are the same cost as anytime delivery.Erm, 'standard' is stretching it - and 'at a premium' should definitely be added!

It depends on cost and what you can sell it for though.True. Would a dirty ugly matte XBO with no UHD and HDR, but priced at $249, have done better though? Probably
I dunno, I kinda feel like HDR was "necessary", so leave that in, but UHD, a nice glossy case, those are definitely not.
I also feel like they might as well throw a dart at the wall and introduce the no optical drive Xbox Basic, now just 199, or something.
Sony doesn't own UHD from what I understand, I don't think they owned BR for that much either. They certainly have shares in it, that being said, they may have less shares in UHD BR.But as was lobbed at Sony with the PS3 and BD, does it increase the profit for the Xbox division ?
It seems more of a no brain move for Sony to support it, since they most likely get royalties in different shapes and sizes.
Does this mean that Sony's numbers says console owners do not buy physical disc movies to care about the volume?
Or is it just that the Pro is unable to support in some way?
I know I never played a BD movie with my PS4, and maybe 10 on the PS3. And I wont be buying a 4K TV anytime soon either.
Would love to see the numbers on BD usage on PS3 and PS4 and try to correlate that with Sony investment into BD and then BD UHD.
Anyways props to MS for putting it in, hoping it ends up as a good choice for them.
