And on a mildly relevant note, I always loved knowing that Samus is female, and a proper one at that, none of the giant boobs / micro-waist / giant hips crap. Though she does wear make-up despite being on her own most of the time, in a battle suit, in the middle of nowhere, with the potential for uncomfortable running and such... oh well.

One interesting thing to point out though.

Femal characters in all games as of yet are always to an extent good looking.
Okay maybe not the red faction woman..... shurder
and some dwarf girl from might and magic. Over all all game women are shapely and beautifull and rarely old.

The same cant also go for some old kung fu drunken master. I mean the male characters are always to an extent over looked. (not that I care) .

Is that because women dont care about looks, or males care too much, or both?

Oh, by the way, going back to the whole 'what figure should a female hero have'... Lara Croft is the most ridiculous thing I have EVER seen.

She's a tomb raider. That would mean she'd probably have to do a lot of crawling around. So explain to me how she'd get through one of those... tunnel things... that were used in tombs... with those. :?
