@bunge As a new player, what's your opinion, so far?
In good old NMS-fashion, the first thing that happened when I opened the galaxy map was a crash to the dashboard.
I am so lucky in these regards man, had no glitch tilll now and none in hellblade too. A friend of mine seems to be running into every bug possible in hellblade. I somehow circumvent all bugs in all games

oh I had no idea I could go with the story in free mode. I should try this.i am only interested in the exploration bits of the game, that's why i play in the free mode, so i do not have to worry about crafting anything at all. I can just follow the story or go from system to system as i like, and buy any ship i want.
I dont know what artemis storyline is, maybe something new in th eupdate but the only time I was sent around like this before was in the pathfinder update and I got meaty rewards for everything I did. I got the Exocraft, the smaller nimbleer version, the heavier version, more additions to my base, armoury terminal etc. Never unrewarding. Maybe something new , if it is unrewarding, its surprising its in there. I am getting more n more curious now.I wished there was a way to get to all these fairly nice sounding bits a wee bit quicker. The emphasis on mining and crafting has always been a bit ridiculous for a space traveling experience that sells itself on ease and complete freedom. And now it's even worse. I'm fairly far (I think) into the Artemis storyline, and so far it can be summed up by travelling to various places (conveniently all placed on the very planet you're on) and crafting ever more elaborate bullshit for the grand payoff of a few lines of text.
The experience of No Man's Sky is akin to ordering a beautiful painting and receiving an empty picture frame instead. And instead of delivering on the painting, the seller is sending you ever more elaborate frames every couple of months.
Your imagination is pretty deep...err big !My base.
