HAHAHA
There have been allot of rumours flying wrong lately. Nintendo to buy Capcom. Nintendo having the rights to the Playstation brand. MS to buy Sega, Nintendo to buy Sega ect ect
But I can say with total confidence that this is the most rediculous rumour yet!
At least those other rumours had
some sense to them. This sounds like something a 5 year old came up with.
So apparently Nintendo were getting Rare to develop the next Zelda game so, for some unknown and insane reason, Nintendo signed over sole rights of there biggest franchise to Rare, a company they owned anyway? Then they allowed Rare to be bought along with there biggest franchise? I have to say I wasn't aware of this rule that for a dev to work on a franchise they must own it outright
I suppose Nintendo also signed over all the rights for Star Fox to Rare too since they made a Star Fox game. Or perhaps they signed over adventure style rights for Star Fox to Rare and flying style rights to Namco since they're making Star Fox Armada? They must have signed over all rights for F-Zero to Sega just because they happen to be making an F-Zero game? Actually hold on a moment, Rare can't own Zelda, Capcom made a Zelda game for GB didn't they?.. so shouldn't Capcom already own all the rights to Zelda by this logic?.. or do they just own GB rights for Zelda
Sorry, I know this rumour is so assinine that I shouldn't even bother posting. But I just couldn't help rideculing it anyway
I agree with Legion, some rumours are far fetched but worth posting. This rumour is so nonsensical and insane that its really not worth posting at all. Infact bbot, you should delete this thread (can a thread starter delete his own thread?).
