I know I have a really bad habit of ranting in this topic here, but... well, ah fuck it, here it goes anyway:
Did Sony ever fix their controller? I have a launch edition PS4 and two PS4 controllers and on both, the thumb stick rubber is breaking, coming off. Maybe I'm just playing too much Fusion Trials, but I've never had any similar troubles on any previous DualShocks, not even some that lasted as long as the generation (6 years). I'm quite hesitant to buy another DualShock before knowing Sony actually addressed this and solved it.
2nd question (no rant, but there will be if the answer turns out to be as expected
). Is there a way to change the PSN profile name? I know at some point, it was said that it's part of your "identity" and that it can not be changed. Fair enough. But now, people actually buy [digital] goods that should last and live as long as the account exists. So I am looking at an investment of $1000+ (~15 games) tied to my account. If I make a new profile, I can kiss that good-bye, not only to all my trophies, but also the money I invested and would need to re-purchase all those games (if I want to play them). Is there a way to change the profile, either through Sony, so that I can keep my investment, or is there a way to transfer my purchases from one account to another? I can't believe I must be the only person that has ever wondered about this?
