Been playing around with it too (GTAV in my case) and it's very impressive. So fast!
Why would it?wow, that's impressive - I wonder if it would be longer should you leave it for a long period (say overnight)
I was hoping you could remote play the Vita at 60fps but I see no option. And it's definitely not already running at that rate
There should be an option. Mine didn't auto-renew, but I can't remember if it was because I didn't click somewhere I should have, or maybe there's no option at all.If you buy a 3 month PS Plus subscription does it auto-renew at the end of the period and bill your credit card?
You can click "cancel auto-renew" in your account settings on the PS4. Your subscription will continue until the period ends.If you buy a 3 month PS Plus subscription does it auto-renew at the end of the period and bill your credit card?
the 60fps option has to be set manually?Vita remote play has gotten much better all-round! I didn't change anything and am too far from the PS4 to connect directly in my bedroom so it's always been through the internet for me. But the latency is much lower now. I didn't even change to 60fps yet afaik but it already felt much smoother.
Not sure but it seems what Onlive have used to reduce the input latency? You have to activate it in the Vita parameters (because this mode deactivate background DVR of PS4 while remote playing the PS4):
PS4 link app -> parameters -> video quality -> framerate -> high (or something similar in your language).
I compared MGS5 with or without, the 60fps mode definitely works as intended! So smooth and much more responsive in 60fps.
And I even suspect the 60fps mode improves the input lag of the 30fps games after my short play with FC4.
What happens? Too many compression artefacts? Do you think the compression hardware has an encode limit and that's what's determining the 60 Hz limits?Wow, I just tried it now at High instead of Standard. Pretty amazing! Tried it with Super Stardust HD and it makes a big difference still.
EDIT: Zen Pinball 2 is too much for it though. Full screen movement probably way too fast. Also interesting - ZP2 and SSHD both recognise the remote play option as a 3D device.

...
No, the framerate can't keep up on Vita for Zen Pinball 2.
Just tried Resogun though - glorious! Pretty much perfect.
