I just got done downloading this demo for PC. I'm running it at 1920x1080 with medium settings and it runs pretty well on my 6600GT.

I must say that the 360 version looks a little better but the mouse+kb controls makes it feel much faster and more realistic. Playing it with the control pad feels like you're turning in quicksand.

I hope developers notice this too and start doing a better job tweaking the controls in PC->console ports.

There is nothing realistic about the speed of a turn using a kb and mouse that compares to actual combat. We are trained to do methodical turns and checks, the greater the speed of a turn, the greater the chance that you will miss an enemy combatant. War is a slow, painful, unforgettable (regrettably) process, that can neither be replicated on control pad NOR kb and mouse. The most accurate, if not precise, aspect of the genre is sound, which is probably why I don't play humanistic FPS games. I do seem to be able to handle WWI and II games though, probably because I didn't experience those particular wars.

Well I've never been in a real war so I have no idea how slowly your supposed to turn, but I do know that when I'm sniping from a second story window and someone chucks a grenade in the room I want to be able to 180 and high tail it out of there as quickly as possible.

The thing with FPS's is that your head moves with your whole body so there's no way to even make a quick glance to the side without "turning".
I'm sure that in real combat even if your weighted down and doing methodical checks your at least allowed to turn your head to the side or take a quick look out of the corner of your eye.
