Errr, why would you need 4 controller ports for wireless controllers? there's no need for a port at all. Actually, maybe 1 which can be used for all controllers when the batteries run out.

It's the new revolutionary feature they've been talking about.
Cart Rage is like the rumblepack, except it sends out inaudible sonic vibrations that makes you really, really angry at certain points in the game. They're totally breaking the fourth wall with that feature.

Senseless and offensive? The mock-up is silly at best, and I figured I'd inject my opinion with a little toilet humor.

I don't want to be threatened after one "offense".. I've been coming here for the better part of 5 years and through at least one forum reboot. I have almost 1,200 posts and they're generally to the point. Please do not threaten my existence here.

Some of the ideas (power jack for controller) are pretty neat, and I like the controller power indicator.. but that's about it.

I think the controller power indicator is dumb, unless there are like 3 or 4 dramaticly different levels of brightness for you to easily distinguish the difference. A 3 or 4 LED meter, like on the MX1000 mouse would make more sense to me. The circular touchpad looks like it could work better than the rectangular ones I'd envisioned every time the rumor of them popped up.

On the console, the slotted drive just won't work, because it's going to have to take at least 2 different sizes of discs. Revolution discs are rumored to be bigger than GC ones, which it'll also have to receive. And I think the back of the system could be less cluttered. They could have 1 or 2 proprietary ports for a dongle or breakout box for all your connections, a la an All-in-Wonder X800 XT.

I read that somewhere. In between GC and standard DVD size (an actual measurement was given, but I've forgotten it).

I didn't see that rumour myself. If you find where its written then I'd appreciate a link. The only rumours I remember seeing of the Revolution discs were 3 inch discs with 5GB storage.
