I just can't get excited on this one...
I think remaking MGS with the same story is a good idea, but
I would like to have seen it treated like a movie remake..where
they can change the layout of the game completely and do thier own
thing with it.
else I have no incentive really to purchase it.

The cinemas are being redone and directed by some famous Japanese director...something or another, you know, that guy...

Something about everything you could do in MGS2 you can do in Twin Snakes. And emm the graphics. GBA connectivity. I think the $40 US MSRP is nice too. And emmm, I don't know anything else new? I have not played it in years so I'm fighting every urge to not bust out ye ole PS1 to play it.

quite framkly they don't have to. if it's on par with RE:REmake in terms of overhaul then I'm sold.

I'll second that. I've never been a RE (Biohazard sounds way better btw) fan, but RE Rebirth was very nice. I bought it, still have it, and liked it.

(Note that I also like RE:code veronica on the dreamcast)

I didn't think there were that many characters introduced. I thought Claire and Leon were less lame than Chris and Jill (the master of unlocking). The only characters I did not like were Steve (CodeV) and Carlos (RE3). Since Leon is like the star of RE4, its all good.

Steve was alright for a secondary character.

BioHazard 4 will introduce many changes, full 3D, moving Camera, new gameplay... I can be something really good.
I agree that they did play on the BioHazard licence a bit too much, still the BioHazard titles have been better that games of another series whose latest title was used as a benchmark by Beyond3D.

most of those were done in code veronica. the newest (*and most useful) may well be first person precision aiming ala dead aim.

MGS: The Mullet Chronicles

Those pics don't look too bad, but they aren't really eye-popping. I'd agree with Grall.

Snake didn't have a mullet until MGS2... that was one of the big surprises when that game was first unveiled.

I don't care. RE sucks, always has, always will, period.

Well, actually, RE4 looks like it's bringing some engine updates FINALLY, so it might not suck outright.

Never been amazed by BioHazard, but it was a refreshing genre, although over exploited (like Tomb Raider... oh, wait ! There has never been a good Tomb Raider game...^^)
