Why do HP include the option for something that is totally useless (the PhysX card)? Or could it be that they know something we don't know, and that we are up for a surprise when UT3 launch? Could it be that the in-game physics of UT3 will blow us away when we install a PhysX card?

I wouldn't mind being positively surprised...

Lets see, HP + Dell sees a way of potentially making an additional $X per system sold, so why wouldn't they offer it as an option?

Yeah, let's just discount the recent reports of nice performance boosts with this card..anyone buying it must clearly be dim-witted or outright stupid.
Peace.

Boosts in what exactly? All five games that support it (are there even that many?)? I'm sorry but the card is a massive failure and will not catch on now, just like it hasn't for quite some time now.

I think i read the same review as rainbow man some web site took another look at the physx chip and it does now appear to speed up games slightly instead of slowing them down as they used to do
still hardly what i'd consider a roaring success ;)
