Things to look out for:

* High-definition - these stills are exactly how the game will appear on your HDTV.
* New York City - NYC returns to the Gotham franchise like never before. Take a close look at the buildings to see the detail.
* Realistic camera - simulating real-life effects like depth of field and motion blur for increased realism.
* Advanced lighting effects - new reflections on car bodies, shadows on the tarmac, and shiny windscreen glare from the sun.
* Crowd - Thousands of motion-captured, fully 3d spectators line the streets, and react to your racing.
* New cars - Featured here are the McLaren F1 LM, the Ferrari 360CS, and the TVR Sagaris.

looks good

Looks nice but it is easy to spot the jaggies. Maybe we'll see the free AA via the edram in the later build. Want to see it moving though, to find out the framerate etc.

However, be aware that due to the time required to prepare in advance for E3, these images are all taken from an older build of the game.

Does this mean that this is from the E3 build on Alpha hardware?

It would also be nice to see shots from the perspective of the driver with the games HUD on screen but I guess those will come eventually. Replay mode always looks more impressive in screen captures.

I think they do have AA, make sure they aren't being scaled by your browser. Try clicking on the larger image again.

mmmmmmm, cyan buildings anyone?

Didn't you know...the Cyan buildings are actually reflecting the light from a Nuclear Explosion...

PGR3: The New War!!!

Every single PGR3 screenshot I see is on the same every track and have the same exact building in the background.

I mean seriously...

I'd love to find something to complain about. Someone pm me with suggestions please.

The game doesn't have the New Batmobile with equipped gyroscope and clone of Katie Holmes...

after 5 years of the old generation and hype over hype, it would be nice to start seeing rounded curves near wheals and front/rear bumpers .... buildings with windows poligonised .... ok thats pushing it.. keep them flat like the trees!

Details? Where?

Serious, what detail? Those 12 polygons boxes with low res textures?

The buildings look great in this shot:

Considering the low poly detail on buildings, and clear polys on the car, I cam only guess devs are aiming real low for first gen titles?

Did the cars look low poly in that promo video to you? 'Cause it was made using in game assets. And they also mention how they are adding detail to the models as developmenet goes on. From Bizzare's site:

This video was created using actual in-game models and assets from PGR3, and not ones specifically made for the video. So the level of detail you see here will be not only matched, but surpassed in the game itself, as the models are getting more and more detailed as development goes on. We hope to be able to release a more up-to-date in-game video some time soon - watch this space!

The thing everyone has to realize is that HAS to be a scinematic shot.....who drives their car (in racing sims) at that angle? Pretty as it is.....you'll probably lose that race. I want to see actuall perspective from the Top Down, or maybe internally. I would like a First Person View perspective with no HUD but using your Dash for the readings (Speed and whatnot). I'm starting to despise the third person racing sims...
