Do you think it's asfe to say this is the same CCD as the PlayStation Eye, for cost reasons? They'd do well to get a sensitive camera. From the sounds of it, the PSEye CCD is capable in low-light, making a portable version slightly useful, as opposed to an utter gimmick. Generally though I can't see much of a market for this at all.

Without knowing the price range of the PS Eye or the specs of the Go!Cam, answering this one is pretty difficult. But it'd make sense for Sony to use a single CCD chip and just put different lenses on it, as it probably would indeed lower their costs.
