I don't know if I have the patience to babysit a squad of dumb AI chars while I take on the enemy, I sort of prefer the duke nukem approach; one big guy with big guns doing all the mopping-up himself.
The suppression fire thingie is good though, I've been wanting to have that in games FOREVER. Like, if you start firing at a soldier in castle wolfenstein for example with the venom gun, he'll just stand there and take it whilst firing back at you, just as if you were popping off spitballs at him with the silenced luger. They have no sense of self-preservation whatsoever, just like 99.99% of all other videogame enemies.
Now, I don't know if this game is the first game to ever use this idea or not, but if they can make it work, then all the more power to them.
