When you install the .net framework, XP force you to use an user when loading despite having only one user on a pc. Anyone found a way to remove that limitation ?

1. Install Powertoys for XP and use the "automatic login" feature. You can download Powertoys from the Microsoft website.
2. Manually make the same changes:
- Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2 and press ok.
- On the Users tab, clear the Users Must Enter A User Name And Password
To Use This Computer check box and then click OK.
- In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears, type the user
name and password for the account you want to be logged on each time
you start your computer.
Nah... TweakUI doesn't solve the problem. At least in my case, after making the change in TweakUI it works once, but next time you boot it's back. You need a register hack, install .NET framework 1.1 (i guess) or install SP2. See also:
