I'm sure some of you at least are familiar with the following, Windows installed on drive C: games installed on another drive, and for some reason you need to format C: or re install windows (bad drive, new build ect).
Now 95% of the time your games will run fine just double click on the exe at worst you may have lost your settings or save games but they work.
Some games dont however and a lot of the time it's because of missing registry entries especially true of games that use launchers like skyrim (the launcher thinks the game isnt installed)
