Need help finding a free fax program

Are there any completely free fax programs for Windows available for download out there on the web? So far I haven't been able to find any, oh 30day trials don't quality.

XP has a basic built in Fax program as far as I know. So does Vista.

Wow! Thank you! Was this recently added because the date says Sept 2006. I've been pulling my hair out trying to find a simple free fax app with no success yet the solution was right under my nose!
