Need a little pointers

Ok, i am going to upgrade my computer pretty soon. I am looking at the atlhlon 64 939 socket cpu's(3500), but i do not know whats a good mb to match it. Also need help with RAM. Does any amd mb come with pci xpress slots yet or not? And is it actually worth it, in terms of performace price to actually bother with it. I have a budget of $1000 CDN. The prices of the cpu itself swallows half of it... Any help would be appreciated. And no its not $1k for the cpu/mb/ram. Also need the other stuff but that is not as important. And i have a 9800 pro as well.

i just got the 3800 939 cpu. I went with msi's neo2 board. Fantastic. No problems. Bought crucials ballastic memory pc4000 if im not mistaken.

Anandtech has given msi's board top honors..
