Native vs. Post-Converted 3D

What are the differences? I'm interested in all aspects of it, from the basic experience of the audience, to the technical aspects of the challenges that arise from both in post production.
 
That make me think you are under the impression beyond3d is a site about 3d in movies

Native 3D are filmed with 3D cameras. Those are cameras that have two sets of lenses and sensors as if they were "eyes":

They will capture everything in 3D: actors, background, etc.

Post-converted are films that were originally filmed with regular, 2D cameras and the 3D effect was added later for special effects and such.

Usually, the result in a post-converted film is pretty mediocre.



But seriously, this isn't the place to ask this question. Perhaps in the General Forum?
