HSR is a strictly turn-based ongoing sci-fi JRPG, free-to-play with gacha for characters and weapons. The highlights are the high production values, self-aware writing, great music, attractive characters, reliable game content updates every ~6 weeks, and how much fresh new gameplay the game has been managing to twist from a very streamlined battle system of Basic Attack, Skill, or Ultimate.
