@Shifty Yes, but of course if your punches and the enemies punches both make a sound it doesn't differentiate so you feel both, same for gunshots even if they miss
Note if you use a transducer like a Buttkicker (which is essentially what my things are) with a modern racing sim they dont use audio they will get their data directly from the telemetry so you dont have that problem

I've updated the thread to expand the scope as the original premise wasn't going to go anywhere and the thread has naturally turned into a retrospective on controllers (@Dictator seems a good DF article/episode or three here!)

I wonder what the durability on that thing was like?
I still have fond memories of playing Wipeout XL with the NeGCon. It was really great. I believe Wipeout 3 dropped support in favor of the (new) analog sticks, and it just wasn't as good. Mine seemed quite durable, never had a problem with it. I still have it somewhere...
