Depends on whether I start the journey to my home office directly from the bedroom (slept in), kitchen (tea!) or the crapper (likely too much Guinness the night before).
6 lefts and a right, though 6 lefts only if you don't count merging off the interstate as a turn. I could do NASCAR!
It's:
Back out of garage, turn left and drive 1 block
Turn left, drive 20 miles on highway
Turn left, drive 10 miles on interstate
Exit from interstate, turn left at light, drive 1 block to work
Turn left into the parking lot
Turn left into my parking spot

The only time I'm coming home from work by car would be taxi from the airport. In that case, I have no idea how many turns it is, but once I'm off the highway it's left, left, left and left.
