That was a long time ago. The 3d tech board has been improving but in general B3D is a shadow of its former self. The old console board (many board transitions ago) in particular was much better than this one which the mods have seemingly completely given up on. Much of what goes on here would never be tolerated at GA.
GA also attracts many industry ppl, btw... easily more than this one. Plenty of lurkers as well.
That's not to say GA is perfect. It's a very elitist board. Many of the posters think they know vastly more than they actually do. You often see ppl there make fun of posters at IGN (hell, anything IGN-related really) eventhough they are every bit as stupid themselves. But GA is also home to some of the most amusing trolls you'll find on the internet. Even the morons have some sort of redeeming quality.

That's what happens as a board grows in popularity. GA is also attracting a fair numbers of idiots from IGN and TXB. That's where the mods come in.
