Microsoft E3 Conference 2011

And it seems some of the stuff has been already leaked:

http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/06/xbox-com-leaks-e3-secrets-early-voice-search-and-a-new-look-f/

including new features for Xbox Live like Voice Search and new look for the service. With the explosive popularity of the Kinect add-on, it looks like the system is being refashioned with support built in from the ground up as opposed to the current menu system that's more of an afterthought. Also mentioned on the page are Dance Central 2, Kinect Sports Season 2 and most importantly, two new Halo games. One is Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary which appears to be the remake leaked by Joystiq previously, and of course, Halo 4.

Dropped in a little late, but I don't think I missed that much, as I don't care that much about shooters (though that scene coming out of the ship/sub I did catch and looked great). Tomb Raider looks good, though what they showed looked like a homage to Heavy Rain. :D

And there is Peter Moore already. 8x4 will be pleased!

Microsoft better launches Kinect for the PC before ME3 is released. Otherwise I will be mighty pissed.

ME3 voice commands are pretty impressive, too.
This is what I've expected of Kinect, granted, without the lag... but it's still cool and offers stuff you don't get with any other console.

Kind of laggy experience. Intuitive in some respects and less intuitive in others. Opening and closing your hand to shoot isnt as much of a good idea as using a trigger.

Gotta say the voice control is fairly impressive. I do wonder how many titles are voice recognized though. Seems like a huge database, maybe done by sending the voice up to MS rather than locally.

MS is playing its card right in establishing the console as an all in one entertainment system. Nice

Kinect's voice recognition shows its usefulness in searching what you want from libraries. That I applaud! Much better than typing and navigating through lists

Gears3 looks unbelievably good!! Amazing! Simply amazing! I havent been impressed by a game that much since Uncharted 2

Completely put down by Crytek announcement...

Still the presentation is pretty fast paced. Head tracking for Forza is nice even if expected.
